Universal Software Solutions Inc. Honored at Texas Workforce Conference

AUSTIN – Universal Software Solutions Inc., dbaVersaSuite, a Williamson County health care software company, received the Employer Award of Excellence for the Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area region at the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) 14th Annual Texas Workforce Conference held November 17-19 in Dallas. The award honors employers that are actively involved with their local workforce board and that have made a positive impact on employers, workers and the community.
VersaSuite partners with Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area for staffing needs and plans to grow to 200 employees by the end of 2011. VersaSuite is participating in the Texas Back to Work initiative and is using the Work Opportunity Tax Credit when hiring new employees. The company also posts job openings on WorkInTexas.com.
“Through the regional collaboration efforts of Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, private sector employers, area educational institutions and economic development entities join the Texas workforce system to design innovative programs to enhance the Texas economy,” said TWC Commissioner Representing the Public Andres Alcantar. “I’d like to take this opportunity to commend all who display such commitment and dedication to the employers and workers of Texas.”
Workforce Solution Rural Capital Area is one of 28 local workforce boards throughout the state. The board serves Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano and Williamson counties. The primary goal of TWC and workforce boards is to respond to the needs of Texas employers and workers through locally designed, market-driven workforce development initiatives and services. All employers, workers and job seekers are eligible to take advantage of these services.
