Swine Flu Information for Child Care Providers - Texas DFPS
Apr 29, 2009
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
The Swine Flu outbreak prompted U.S. Health officials to declare a state of emergency to allow federal assistance to be brought to bear quickly and effectively as needed. While the outbreak in Mexico has been serious, only a small number of relatively mild cases have been confirmed in Texas.
Texas day care providers may continue to operate at their discretion but are urged to follow guidance published by the Texas Department of State Health Services to reduce the likelihood of the spread of Swine Flu.
